Oral examination using the digital intraoral scanner

Contact-free 3D scanning of the dental arcades for highly precise and objective assessment of dental structures.

Oral examination using the digital intraoral scanner

The digital intraoral scanner enables fast, contact-free, and highly precise assessment of the teeth and oral structures. While your horse stands calmly, a high-resolution 3D model of the dental arcades is created within minutes.

This examination is particularly gentle and stress-free and places the horse’s comfort at the center of the diagnostic process.

The resulting 3D data allows diagnosis at an exceptional level of detail. Fine structures that are often difficult to detect with the naked eye or conventional methods become visible and measurable.

This improves assessment of:

  • Dental hooks and sharp enamel points
  • Irregular wear patterns
  • Waves and steps
  • Tooth fractures
  • Crowding or malalignment
  • Changes affecting cheek teeth and incisors

Treatment progress can be accurately documented and compared over time, offering a major advantage for long-term dental health monitoring.
