Computed Tomography (CT)

High-resolution cross-sectional imaging for detailed visualization of complex dental and bony structures of the equine head.

Computed Tomography (CT)

Computed tomography represents one of the most advanced imaging modalities in equine medicine and is available at Equident Clinics. CT provides highly detailed visualization of bones, cartilage, tendons, and ligaments.

The height-adjustable system allows examination of the standing, sedated horse and enables assessment of regions that were previously difficult to access. For diagnostic questions involving the equine head, CT is considered the gold standard.

The extended gantry size opens new diagnostic possibilities and allows precise evaluation of complex anatomical structures. CT significantly enhances our imaging capabilities and enables:

  • More accurate diagnoses
  • More reliable prognoses
  • More effective therapy planning

If you have questions about diagnostic options or would like to schedule a CT examination for your horse, our team will be happy to advise you.
